Delete your CA Samaaj account

30-day waiting time

To confirm that it is really you, we email a 6-digit code to the email address of your account.

When you ask to delete your account, you are signed out on the website and in the app. Your account is then deleted permanently 30 days later. If you sign in again (website or app) before that, the deletion is cancelled and your account stays as it was. After the 30 days the deletion cannot be undone.

How to delete your account

1. In the app: open the CA Samaaj app, go to Account, then Devices & Security, and tap Delete my CA Samaaj account at the end.
2. On the website: sign in and use the button at the end of this page (or Account, then Delete account).
3. Cannot sign in? Write to us from the Contact page with the email address of your account and the words "Delete my account". We delete the account within 7 days (without the waiting time) and confirm by email.

What is deleted

• Your account: name, email address, phone number, password and Google sign-in link
• Your job preferences, personalised job alerts, saved and applied jobs
• Your Premium access and promo codes (any Premium time left ends; it cannot be moved to another account)
• Your profile, education and job form details, and files you uploaded
• Messages and posts you sent (contact messages, comments, questions and answers, job reports, app support chats)
• App sign-ins, devices, notifications and newsletter subscription

What is kept

• Payment records and invoices (amount, date, order and invoice numbers), because Indian tax law requires us to keep them. Your name, email address and phone number are removed from them.
• Records of actions taken by the CA Samaaj team, for security.

Bought Premium through Google Play? Google keeps its own records of those purchases. Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription - cancel it in the Play Store first.
