We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Accountant to join our team in Machelen, Belgium. As an integral part of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.Manage and maintain financial records, ensuring data integrity and accuracyPrepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecastsMaintaining and follow up AP, AR as well as General AccountingReconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely mannerAssist in month-end and year-end closing processesCollaborate with other departments to gather financial information and provide insightsImplement and maintain internal financial controls and proceduresParticipate in audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulationsIdentify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracyAssist in budgeting and financial planning activitiesStay up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practicesSupport in other tasks e.g. HR related 
Qualifications
Main competences:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent work experienceProficiency in accounting software, preferably SAP, ExactKnowledge of accounting principles, practices and financial reporting standards and
