Job Description
We are looking for an Employment Tax Manager to lead our Employment and Expatriate Tax agenda across the Group.This is a high-impact, UK-based role with a global remit, reporting to the Head of Tax. We are open to considering candidates on either a full-time basis or a part-time basis of 3–4 days per week.The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a broad and strategically important area of tax, partnering with senior stakeholders across the business and helping shape how Endava manages employment tax risk, governance and compliance as we continue to grow internationally.As Employment Tax Manager, you will be the Group’s subject matter expert for employment and expatriate tax matters, providing clear, commercial and pragmatic advice across a complex, multi-jurisdictional environment.You will lead and influence across areas including:UK employment tax compliance, including PSA, P11D/PBIK, STBV and share scheme reportingGlobal mobility, expatriate tax and cross-border working arrangementsContractor tax risk, including IR35, employment status and worker classificationShare scheme tax matters, including global tax reviews, payroll reporting and tax authority filingsPayroll tax governance, benefits reviews, controls, documentation and

You will play a key role in identifying risk, driving practical solutions, strengthening controls and ensuring the business is well positioned to respond to changing employment tax requirements around the world.We’re looking for an experienced employment tax professional with strong technical expertise, sound judgement and the confidence to operate as a trusted adviser to the business. You’ll bring a proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to translate complex tax matters into clear, actionable guidance for stakeholders at all levels.
Qualifications
You’ll likely bring:Extensive employment and expatriate tax experience, ideally in a global or international environmentStrong knowledge of UK employment tax compliance and related reporting obligationsExperience across global mobility, contractor status, share schemes, payroll tax controls and benefitsThe ability to manage complex, multi-jurisdictional issues with confidence and pragmatismExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsA recognised tax qualification, such as ATT or CTA, or a relevant accounting qualification with strong tax-specific experienceThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of a broad, global employment tax remit in a dynamic, international business, with the scope to influence policy, strengthen governance and make a real impact across the Group — with flexibility for the right candidate.Interested in joining Endava and shaping our global employment tax agenda?
