ICSI Opens June 2026 CS Verification of Marks Window; ₹250 Per Subject, September 15 Deadline

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has opened the Verification of Marks facility for candidates of the June 2026 Company Secretaries examinations, with the online window running through 15 September 2026. The session-specific notice issued by the Directorate of Examinations says candidates may seek verification in any subject through their own SMASH portal account, at a non-refundable fee of ₹250 per subject.

The facility is relevant to CS candidates who are dissatisfied with the marks shown in their June 2026 result or who want ICSI to check for specific processing errors. ICSI's June 2026 notice states that, under Regulation 42(2) of the Company Secretaries Regulations, 1982 as in force, a candidate may apply for verification of marks within 21 days from the declaration of the result. For this session, the Institute has fixed the operating window from 26 August 2026 at 00:01 hours until 15 September 2026 up to 24:00 hours.

What ICSI checks during verification

The verification fee is ₹250 per subject and is non-refundable. ICSI says applications for Verification of Marks are normally processed within seven weeks from receipt in the Directorate of Examinations.

If there is no change in marks or result position, the reply can be downloaded online. Inspection lets a candidate personally inspect the relevant answer books at ICSI's Noida office after processing, while certified-copy applications result in scanned copies being made available through a secured login. None of these routes permits revaluation of answers.
