Accenture India | Record to Report Ops Associate

Responsibilities

• The areas where this team s expertise lies include preparing and posting journal entries, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, supporting month end closing, preparing reports and supporting audits, performing variance analysis and providing comments for month over month movement in Trial Balance, performing reporting activities, handling intercompany related activities, Fixed Asset and Lease related activities.
• The role requires a good understanding of P&L accounts, general ledger, bookkeeping, journal entry, voucher entry, trial balance and month end reporting.
• Routine Problem Solving Address day to day issues using established precedents and general guidelines, escalating complex matters as needed.
• Team Collaboration Interact primarily with your immediate team and supervisor to ensure alignment on deliverables and priorities.
• Client Interaction Engage with clients on a need basis, maintaining professionalism and clarity in communication.
• Task Execution Follow detailed instructions for daily tasks and receive structured guidance for new assignments.
• Decisions made will primarily impact your own work scope.
• Workload Management Take ownership of assigned deliverables while supporting broader team goals during peak periods or shared responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1 to 3 years in shared services, finance operations or accounting.
• Knowledge Apply basic accounting principles and terminology in daily operations and stakeholder discussions.
