• You will lead complex initiatives driven by the Finance team and work hands-on with both Finance Users and the IT Technical Product Team to maintain and optimize the S4/Hana environment.
• This role is key to supporting the ongoing finance transformation and ensuring the system’s full potential is leveraged to drive organizational growth and efficiency to help Alter Domus achieve its ambitious growth objectives.
• This means you will deal with users who have varying S4 knowledge.
• Provide support to Finance users in S4 Hana Public Cloud.
• Support data flows between systems and reduce manual intervention.
• Collaborate and develop relationships with Technical Product Management (S4).
• Drive a culture of compliance and risk control.
• Support for professional accreditations such as ACCA and study leave.
• Reporting to the Head of Finance Systems, you will serve as Manager, S4 Hana Public Cloud.
• Define and documents business process that will be impacted by S4 Integrations with P2P, OTC, Projects, Concur, MBC, Consolidation/Group Reporting, etc.
• Champion ‘one way of working’ across Alter Domus.

Requirements

• Working as part of the Finance Team (not IT) you will work closely with the Team to diagnose and resolve data issues and carry out route cause analysis.
• Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in SAP, some of which must be S4 HANA, preferably S4 Public Cloud.
• Able to bridge the link between Finance Functional requirements and Technical S4 configuration.
• Must be able to empathise with end users, effectively putting themselves in their shoes to understand their needs.
• Proven track record of working with multilocational teams across multiple time zones.
• Proven track record of system implementation or transformations, working cross-functionally teams.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-growing and dynamic environment, especially in industries that are undergoing rapid digital transformation.

Alter Domus is a Luxembourg-headquartered provider of administration services to private markets and alternative investment managers. Its services cover fund administration, AIFM and depositary services, corporate services, loan agency and loan services, and technology and data tools such as fund accounting, investor management and portfolio data management. In India its teams are based in Hyderabad.

Its openings in India have been in Hyderabad. They have covered fund accounting for real estate and private credit funds, from fund accountant to senior fund accountant and fund services manager, along with reconciliation officers and managers, billing, client onboarding, corporate governance and delivery roles, and some positions serving EMEA clients.
