Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to clients on individual tax services, demonstrating expertise in areas such as 990, 5500,1040 or 1041.
• Oversee the calculation and analysis of tax strategies for clients and assist with delivering to the client.
• Manage and review the preparation individuals tax returns, estimated payments and extensions.
• Monitor, document and apply the tax laws for US tax return preparation.
• Provide both leadership (mentoring and coaching) and supervision to Tax Seniors and Staff.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute towards implementing them.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CCS Access Software and Sure Prep tools.
• Ability to handle business entity tax compliance tasks effectively.
• EA, CPA (US) or CA (ICAI) certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in US Taxation.
• Previous experience in a public accounting firm preferred.
• Proficient in individual taxation - 990, 5500,1040 or 1041.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervising and training experience.
• Prior experience working with large, multi-state, internationally active middle-market clients preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently and strong organizational skills required for managing multiple client engagements.
