DBS Bank Singapore | SA/AVP, DBS GFM-IB Structuring & Execution (Greater China Coverage)

Responsibilities

• As an Asian leader in treasury operations, DBS Global Financial Markets (GFM) extends a broad range of capabilities ranging from trading, structuring and sales in foreign exchange, interest rates, money market, credit, equity, commodities, bonds, derivatives and securities.
• In particular, we are looking to establish dedicated Singapore-based IB specialist support to systematically drive our GFM-IB origination, coordination and execution across our internal and external channels from a Greater China client coverage perspective.
• Support end-to-end Greater China IB client coverage, origination, coordination of product execution across ECM, DCM advisory broader GFM opportunities.
• Assist in the management of our One Bank cross-selling opportunities.
• Support sponsor, founder, family office and investor ecosystem development in partnership with our private bank, institutional banking group and GFM product teams.
• Coordinate transaction execution across various internal stakeholders and pipeline management across Greater China IB coverage, IB and broader GFM product teams.
• Support development of GFM China+N opportunities across funding, investment and risk management solutions.
• Prepare integrated IB client coverage materials, market intelligence, industry analysis and strategic account plans across ECM, DCM and broader GFM solutions to support holistic client coverage, mandate origination and wallet share expansion

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking Capital Markets, Corporate Banking or Greater China client coverage.
• Knowledge of Greater China capital markets and corporate landscape would be an advantage.
• Fluent level of relevant language skills (business level).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and good knowledge on usage of Bloomberg.
• Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Genuine interest in and aptitude for understanding companies and stocks, fundamental analysis, financial statements and valuation.
• Analytical and with drive to solve problems.
• Team player, ability to multi-task, pro-active and possess positive attitude.
• Self-motivated, able to adapt and willingness to learn and follow through on work matters.
