Responsibilities

• The role is responsible for managing delinquent mortgage and auto loans through customer engagement on repayment, litigation, repossession, asset sale and shortfall recovery, while minimizing credit losses and ensuring compliance with the Bank's requirements.
• Review customer profiles and recommend appropriate collection or litigation actions.
• Manage mortgage loan recall and litigation, including Letters of Demand, Notices To Quit and Offer of Amicable Resolution.
• Liaise with lawyers and monitor legal actions, deadlines, costs and repayment proposals.
• Manage vehicle repossessions, including Fourth and Fifth Schedules, valuation, advertisement and sale.
• Review sale proceeds and expenses, verify vendor invoices and follow up on outstanding shortfalls.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure timely follow-up of all actions.
• Handle customer complaints and escalate irregular, complex or high-risk cases promptly.
• Comply with applicable legal, credit and operational-risk requirements.
• Prepare NPL, valuation, specific provisioning, forecast and monthly management reports.

Requirements

• Minimum degree or equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in secured product collection and hands-on experience in mortgage litigation and vehicle repossession.
• Strong attention to details, particularly in managing legal procedures and documentation.
• Strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
• Able to manage difficult customers and situations independently.
• Experience in Overseas Property Loan collection/litigation and Insurance Premium would be an advantage.
