Key responsibilities
- The Senior Software Developer – C++ will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining reusable software and embedded software components for energy domain products and solutions.
- This role requires strong expertise in modern C++ development, multithreaded applications, software architecture, and system-level programming.
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in object-oriented design, software engineering principles, data structures, and debugging techniques while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and scalable software solutions.
- Analyze software requirements and functional specifications aligned with business needs.
- Design, develop, unit test, and maintain reusable software and embedded software components.
- Develop high-performance, scalable, and maintainable applications using modern C++ technologies.
- Participate in architecture discussions and software design activities.
- Perform code reviews, design reviews, and technical documentation reviews.
- Leveraging modern engineering practices, Agile methodologies, and product development expertise, we help organizations accelerate innovation and digital transformation.
- Conduct unit testing and support quality assurance initiatives.
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of complex software issues.
- Support continuous integration and software configuration management processes.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, developers, and quality engineering teams.
- Ensure timely delivery of software components and project milestones.
Key skills required
- Education- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, MCA, M. Tech, MSc, or equivalent.
- Experience with software architecture and design patterns.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with global and cross-functional stakeholders.
- 5–8 years of experience in software design and development.
