Responsibilities
- Ensure 100% Revenue Assurance of the services rendered by the company.
- Ensure Timely invoicing of all the services rendered by the company.
- Ensure Timely collection of money from Customers.
- Ensure timely process of Credit Notes to customers.
- Ensure correct accounting of Invoice and receipt of customers.
- Ensure timely collection of TDS certificate from customers.
- Ensure compliances of GST, Other Taxes with respect to Accounts Receivables.
- Ensure compliances of company’s credit policy.
- Prepare Monthly reports as required with respect to Accounts Receivable.
- Prepare and monitor Revenue Budget of the company.
- Prepare monthly accrued revenue and customer rebate/discount provisions.
- Prepare monthly schedules related to accounts receivables.
- Assist in Group Reporting Audit, Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, Internal Audit & Revenue Audit of AR Function.
- Reporting to: Team Lead - Accounts Receivable
- Ensure TDS Recon with 26AS.
Requirements
- Awareness and upto date knowledge of GST, Income Tax & TDS compliance.
- Experience in major ERPs like SAP/Oracle
About the company
DP World
From its base at Jebel Ali in Dubai, DP World runs ports and terminals around the world. It started out in 1972 as the operator of Port Rashid, Dubai's first commercial port, and has used its current name since September 2005. Finance work at DP World in India is split between its Global Service Centre, where teams handle accounts payable, accounts receivable and freight forwarding finance, and business units such as container freight stations and rail and inland terminals. Site finance, general accounting, management accounting, FP&A and internal audit roles go up to senior manager and are based in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Chennai, Gurugram and New Delhi. Postings ask for a B.Com, M.Com or a degree in accounting or finance, and senior roles often require a qualified CA, with CPA, ACCA, CIA or CFE also named.
