EXL | Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional for the role of Assistant Manager – Controllership (Global Fixed Asset Accounting).
• The ideal candidate should have strong domain expertise in global fixed asset processes within an F&A shared service or captive unit of a reputed multinational organization.
• Controllership (Global Fixed Asset Accounting).
• Manage end-to-end fixed asset accounting activities across multiple geographies with strong command over core accounting principles.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of the fixed assets sub‑ledger, including timely capitalization, disposals/retirements, and monthly close processes (journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments).
• Oversee accurate tracking of existing assets and drive periodic physical verification processes to maintain asset register accuracy.
• Ensure all fixed asset schedules are compliant with relevant accounting frameworks.
• Execute monthly close tasks including accrual postings, amortization runs, and related reconciliations.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with cross‑functional teams and global stakeholders.
• Prepare qualitative and quantitative analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L and balance sheet movements.
• Create insightful MIS reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management review.
• Ensure adherence to SOX, internal audit, and statutory audit requirements.

Qualification

• Strong functional knowledge of Fusion ERP (Recommended).
• Semi-Qualified CA/CMA or MBA (Finance).
