EXL | Lead Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• Review treaty and facultative reinsurance transactions.
• Monitor outstanding claims and recoveries.
• Prepare and issue statements to reinsurers.
• Manage collections and payments with reinsurers.
• Reporting Prepare management and regulatory reports.
• Support statutory and GAAP reporting requirements.
• Monitor aging of recoverables and cash balances.
• Process premium adjustments and bookings.
• Maintain reinsurance recoverable balances.
• Ensure accuracy of premium, claims, reserves, commissions, recoverables, and settlements while supporting month-end and year-end financial close activities.

Skills required

• Strong understanding of Insurance & Reinsurance Accounting.
• Knowledge of: Treaty Reinsurance Facultative Reinsurance Ceded & Assumed Business Premium Accounting Claims Accounting IBNR, UPR, DAC Reinsurance Recoverables Advanced Excel skills.
