EXL | Lead Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing month-end close activities, including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and balance sheet substantiation using Oracle and BlackLine.
• Manage cash accounting processes, cash validations, bank reconciliations, and cash application activities while ensuring compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
• Prepare and analyze contingent commission statements, reserve calculations, premium and loss trend reports, and financial statement variance analyses.
• Perform source-to-GL reconciliations, investigate reconciling items, and coordinate issue resolution with business stakeholders.
• Support financial reporting, P&L and balance sheet reviews, expense allocations, and revenue recognition processes.
• Ensure timely completion of key and non-key reconciliations, open item monitoring, and audit requirements.
