Responsibilities

• Review the Insurance Premium tax and Withholding Tax Returns, support the team members in query resolution.
• Review of monthly, quarterly and annual tax estimates, municipal returns, GFA & business licenses Review of monthly account reconciliations.
• Assist team to perform Research on the open items and resolve them in timely manner.
• Assist team to prepare internal reports, perform Audits and report deficiencies to onshore team.
• Support to onshore team with tax audits as they arise Reporting team’s performance, escalation handling, clarifying concerns and seeking feedback and support.
• Prepare MBR/QBR’s and report to onshore partners.

Qualifications

• Advanced skills in MS Office, MS Excel, MS Word Accounting System or ERP, Web based applications Tax tools (Premium pro, Optins) Vertex, Workday, Blackline.
• Knowledge of tax websites for payments.
• Ability to work with client independently.
• Ability to drive conversation related Internal and external tax audits.
• Excellent oral/written communication skills, presentation skills- MANDATORY Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Excellent analytical skills and competent at logical reasoning.
• Must be a self-starter, detail oriented with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Able to prioritize multiple activities and projects.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Indirect tax experience is necessary.
• B.Com / M.Com / bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required.
