Responsibilities

• Lead and support Finance Transformation engagements across Asset & Wealth Management, Investment Management, Banking, Insurance, and Private Equity clients.
• Act as a subject matter expert in Investment Accounting, Fund Accounting, and Private Equity Accounting processes.
• Support business process design, target operating model development, and finance function transformation initiatives.
• Analyze and improve end-to-end investment lifecycle processes, including trade capture, valuation, reconciliation, accounting, and reporting.
• Support requirements gathering, solution design, testing, UAT, and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, technology, and business stakeholders to deliver strategic transformation programs.
• Support data migration, reconciliation, and process standardization initiatives.
• Prepare client deliverables, process documentation, operating procedures, and transformation roadmaps.
• Support proposal development, RFP responses, POVs, and client presentations.
• Contribute to the development of Finance Transformation solutions focused on Investment Accounting and Investment Operations.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and technology enablement.
• Develop thought leadership, market insights, and solution accelerators related to Aladdin, Clearwater, and Finance Transformation.
• Build strong client relationships and support business growth initiatives within the Financial Services sector.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative and scalable transformation offerings.
• Support, coaching and feedback from some of the most engaging colleagues around.
• Leverage expertise in Black Rock Aladdin and/or Clearwater Analytics to assess, design, and optimize investment accounting and reporting processes.

Skills and attributes for success

• Subject Matter and Technical Skills.
• Strong understanding of: Investment Accounting Fund Accounting Private Equity Accounting Portfolio Accounting Investment Operations Financial Reporting and Reconciliations.
• Knowledge of financial instruments including: Equities Fixed Income Securities Derivatives Private Equity Investments Alternative Investments.
• Understanding of investment lifecycle processes from trade execution through accounting and reporting.
• Working knowledge of accounting frameworks such as IFRS and US GAAP.
• Hands-on experience with Black Rock Aladdin and/or Clearwater Analytics platforms.
• Understanding of: Investment Book of Record (IBOR) Accounting Book of Record (ABOR) Security Master Data Corporate Actions Pricing & Valuation Investment Performance Reporting Portfolio Reconciliations.
• Exposure to Finance Transformation, Operating Model Design, Process Improvement, and Digital Transformation initiatives.
• Very strong solution conceptualization/ideation skill.
• Excellent written & oral communication & articulation.
• Proven ability to lead diverse team over multiple geographies.
• Ability to comprehend complexity quickly & apply solutions.
• Strong entrepreneurial skills in terms of ownership of problem & solutions.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and deliver results.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in Financial Services, with mandatory experience in: Investment Accounting Fund Accounting Private Equity Accounting.
• Experience supporting finance, accounting, reporting, or investment operations functions.
• Strong understanding of investment products, portfolio accounting, and financial reporting processes.
• Experience in Finance Transformation, process improvement, or operating model initiatives.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions and actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience of working with international clients preferred.
• Experience with previous multinational consulting firms or Big4 firms.
• Strong business development skills
