Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and filing of tax returns (e.g., VAT, GST, sales/use tax, income tax).
• Maintain accurate and organized tax records and documentation for audits.
• Assist in tax reconciliations (e.g., reconciling tax accounts to the general ledger).
• Monitor tax payment deadlines and help ensure timely payments to avoid penalties.
• Support responding to tax authorities during audits, assessments, or inquiries.
• Assist with daily cash management activities such as monitoring cash positions, bank balances, and fund transfers.
• Prepare and maintain cash flow reports and forecasts.
• Support the execution and tracking of intercompany funding and loan agreements.
• Coordinate with banks for payment processing issues, bank statements, and other service requests.
• Support in treasury accounting and reconciliation of treasury-related entries.
• Ensure all tax and treasury processes comply with internal controls and SOX requirements (if applicable).
• Assist in preparing documentation for internal or external audits.
• Prepare periodic tax and treasury reports for internal stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing management reports related to tax liabilities, cash flow, and treasury positions.
• Maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for all assigned processes.
• Work with internal teams (Finance, Accounts Payable, Legal, etc.) to gather information for tax and treasury tasks.
• Collect and verify supporting documentation for tax filings.
• Help in managing bank accounts, including account openings, closures, and KYC documentation.
• Adhere to regulatory and internal policy requirements for financial transactions.
