Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of master data associates/analysts ensuring high performance and adherence to SLAs.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify training needs.
• Ensure strict adherence to master data governance policies and standards.
• Monitor and enforce data quality, accuracy, and completeness across master data domains (e.g., supplier, customer, product).
• Drive compliance with data management frameworks, ensuring all master data changes follow established procedures.
• Oversee data cleansing, validation, and enrichment activities to maintain high data quality.
• Identify data inconsistencies, duplication, and anomalies; implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to resolve data-related issues.
• Own end-to-end master data processes including creation, update, and deletion requests.
• Implement process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
• Ensure all process documentation is up to date and communicated to the team.
• Act as the key point of contact for master data issues across business units and IT.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (procurement, finance, IT, sales) to understand master data needs and challenges.
• Facilitate communication and alignment on master data standards and best practices.
• Monitor and report on key master data KPIs such as data quality scores, turnaround times, and compliance rates.
• Prepare and present status reports and dashboards to senior management.
• Oversee usage and maintenance of MDM tools and platforms (e.g., SAP MDG, Informatica, Stibo Systems).
• Coordinate with IT for system upgrades, issue resolution, and data integration projects.
• Ensure data security and access controls are maintained in line with policies.
• Ensure master data management activities comply with regulatory and internal audit requirements.
• Support audit activities by providing documentation, reports, and clarifications.
• Implement audit recommendations related to master data governance and controls.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members to build strong expertise in master data processes.

• Use data insights to recommend and implement corrective actions.
