Accountabilities

• In addition, he will also be responsible for creating, maintaining, and monitoring the grouping of GLs in BPC and maintaining the company's relationships master data in the BPC tool.
• Verify RPT, follow up on missing RPT, identify gaps, and ensure corrections are made.
• Verify numbers with standalone financials along with groupings.
• Identify elimination gaps with standalone numbers.
• Ensure corrections are made in standalone financials.
• Ensure all Entity presentations for management review have been received.
• Verify that numbers are correctly flowing in financial dashboard.
• Verification of Newspaper Publication numbers.
• Preparation of Quarterly Consolidated Forecasting.
• Preparation of Consolidated Monthly Annual Operation Plan (AOP).
• Review of standalone financials of GMR Airport Limited (GAL) & GMR Power and Urban Infra Limited (GPUIL).
• Prepare closing schedule for the group on quarterly basis.
• Monitor progress of the schedule & highlight /escalate any slippages.
• Support in preparation of Consolidation of financials statements of GAL and GPUIL.
• Consolidate Power, Roads, EPC, Smart Meters and Other sector financials and also the intermediary Holding companies and provide the same in time for review by the superiors, after highlighting the variations.
• Plan and manage consolidation team on day-to-day consolidation activities so as to achieve the above.
• Ensure satisfactory and timely resolution of queries from subsidiaries.
• Closely interact with the auditors and resolve or escalate consol audit issues.
• Analysis of financials & Audit committee presentation.
• Identify improvement areas in the consolidation process and initiate action for deployment of the same.
• Support and arranging the data & providing the respective details to MAG team & resolved all their queries for the respective period.
• Provide support for both statutory and internal audits by ensuring all book closure activities comply with required standards and regulations.
• Ensure proper coordination with the team and the employees.
• Consolidated annual financial turnover to the tune of Rs. 19,000 Crs.

GMR Group

The GMR Group traces its start to 1978, when G. M. Rao began with a jute mill in Rajam, Andhra Pradesh. It has since grown into an infrastructure group with interests in airports and aero services, energy, highways and urban development. Finance postings come in two groups. Hyderabad openings are for executives in payroll and in finance and accounts, in a shared-services set-up, asking for a B.Com, M.Com or MBA and one to five years of experience. New Delhi openings are more senior: an Associate General Manager in finance (CA or CFA, with five years in a leadership role), a Manager in FP&A with eight to twelve years, and audit, assurance and risk roles that ask for a CA, some with an extra certification such as CISA or CIA, plus a senior associate role open to CA Inter candidates. There is also an investigations manager role for the Kamalanga plant in Angul.
