Responsibilities

• Prepares accounting reports, and increasingly complex accounting analyses with related spreadsheets or applications input, and identifies and resolves issues.
• Researches and resolves basic accounting issues and transactions including related internal controls.
• Creating Payment Proposals as per scheduled payment list.
• Reviewing Payment Proposal List and Exceptional List.
• Performing urgent payment activities; inter­ company payments.
• Performing manual Payments in banking platforms (CITl, HSBC, Bank of America, HSBC, JPMC, SCB).
• Forecasting Cash Report for weekly payments.
• Handle queries regarding the status of the vendor invoices and credit note, payments and Remittance.
• Handling Payment rejections, Incoming Payments, Manual Payment Postings and Direct Debit.
• Preparing Monthly SLA and Metrics report.
• Training and continuous monitoring of new recruits within the team.
• Designed easily understandable process document for the new hires & team.
• Handle Escalations promptly in way that it may not impact operations.
• Record incidents on daily basis to ensure clients’ concerns are addressed.
• Ensured to meet target while satisfying the client.
• Prepares and posts journal vouchers for accounting transactions.

Requirements

• Knowledge of US GAAP or country- specific accounting principles required.
• Candidate will be part of global payments team based in Bangalore, wherein they will carry out day to day payment processing in SAP.
• Should come from AP background and SAP knowledge is a must.
• Hands on experience with S/4 HANA & BCM (Bank communication Management) Implementation.
• Strong Team Player with a Collaborative Mindset.
• Ability to Drive Change, Initiatives and deliver Value-Added improvements.
• Strong Analytical and Reporting Capabilities with Dashboard and KPI Management.
• Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs.
• Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including Accountant and Sr.
• Willing to work in night Shift.
• 3 - 4+ years of Accounts payable / Payments processing in SAP
• Ability to work flexible shifts
• Experience supporting Global Business Operations.
