Responsibilities

• As a Financial Accountant I at ICON, you will financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Employment with ICON is contingent upon having the legal right to work in the country where the role is based.
• You will take responsibility for finance and financial management deliverables, applying your skills to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Recording and reconciling financial transactions in compliance with accounting principles.
• Supporting accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and vendor management.
• Assisting with financial analysis in decision-making processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• You will bring relevant finance and financial management experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.

Requirements

• Should have experience in Month End Closures, Payroll postings, Accruals, Fixed Assets, Prepayments.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Experience in Balance Sheet Reconcilation
