Responsibilities
- This role is pivotal in delivering financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the Retail Banking Products vertical.
- The selected candidate will report directly to the Head of Business Finance and play a key role in driving financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Promote a culture of collaborative learning and shared ownership within the team.
- Manage business finance activities for Retail Banking Products.
- Prepare monthly product financials, MIS reports, and dashboards.
- Conduct detailed revenue and cost analysis, highlighting variances against budgets and forecasts.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes and submissions.
- Track key business variables and present trends and risks to senior management.
- Maintain accurate financial data and reports for internal stakeholders.
- Support automation initiatives for manual processes to improve efficiency.
- Maintain MIS parameters as per defined guidelines and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to leverage synergies and share best practices.
- Address financial issues and inquiries promptly and effectively.
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Access.
- Excellent understanding of financial reporting and analysis.
- Good knowledge of the banking industry and its operational dynamics.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with financial automation tools and technologies is an added advantage.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Exposure to consumer banking verticals is highly desirable.
