About the company
Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated
JLL took its present form in 1999, when LaSalle Partners of Chicago merged with Jones Lang Wootton, a London property firm with roots in the eighteenth century, to create Jones Lang LaSalle. It has used the shorter name JLL since 2014. Headquartered in Chicago and listed on the New York Stock Exchange, it works for property owners, occupiers and investors, handling leasing, capital markets deals, property and facility management, and project and development services, and it manages real estate investments through LaSalle Investment Management, alongside a technology business. In India it operates as Jones Lang LaSalle Property Consultants (India) Private Limited, registered in New Delhi, and has a presence in Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Kochi and Coimbatore. Its Indian teams cover leasing, capital markets, research and advisory, project development, and facility, property and asset management.
Most of JLL's finance openings in India are in Gurugram, with others in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Ludhiana. The work covers contract-to-billing and receivables, accounts payable, general ledger and record-to-report, revenue recognition, reporting and FP&A, treasury, US payroll, lease administration and financial modelling for consulting projects, plus finance roles in Ludhiana and Mumbai suited to people from mall, retail, hotel or facilities backgrounds. Roles run from senior analyst to regional finance lead. Many postings ask for a commerce or accounting degree or a professional accountancy qualification; a revenue recognition role requires CA, ACCA or CPA, others prefer a CA, CPA, CFA or MBA, and payables roles in Hyderabad accept B.Com, MBA Finance or CA Inter.
