- Conduct thorough verification of vendor banking details before payment processing.
- Investigate and resolve red flags or suspicious payment requests.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all verification activities and communications.
- Monitor notifications and coordinate with vendors to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with the AP team to ensure timely payment processing after verification.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive banking and vendor information.
- Perform various other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
- Make outbound calls to vendors to confirm banking information changes and payment details
- Follow established fraud prevention protocols and compliance requirements
- Maintain 100% compliance with bank verification protocols and security procedures Successfully identify and prevent fraudulent payment attempts with zero security breaches
Experience in the industry
- Accounting Background (B. Com /M. Com/MBA Finance).
- Exceptional verbal communication skills for professional vendor interactions.
- Strong investigative abilities to detect potentially fraudulent activities.
- Professional telephone manner with clear articulation and active listening skills.
- Computer skills, including Excel preferred.
- Exposure to ERP includes Yardi, PeopleSoft, and Work Dynamics.

The work covers contract-to-billing and receivables, accounts payable, general ledger and record-to-report, revenue recognition, reporting and FP&A, treasury, US payroll, lease administration and financial modelling for consulting projects, plus finance roles in Ludhiana and Mumbai suited to people from mall, retail, hotel or facilities backgrounds. Roles run from senior analyst to regional finance lead. Many postings ask for a commerce or accounting degree or a professional accountancy qualification; a revenue recognition role requires CA, ACCA or CPA, others prefer a CA, CPA, CFA or MBA, and payables roles in Hyderabad accept B.Com, MBA Finance or CA Inter.
