- We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Specialist to manage the complete contract-to-billing lifecycle within our Finance Operations team.
- The ideal candidate will serve as the primary liaison between Finance & Business team ensuring accurate and timely billing processes while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

- Manage the collection of outstanding receivables through proactive follow-ups with customers.
- Resolve payment disputes and coordinate with internal stakeholders to support timely collection.
- Track and report on collection performance, aging, and overdue balances.
- Identify and allocate unapplied customer payments to the correct accounts and invoices.
- Research unidentified receipts using bank statements, remittance details, and customer communication.
- Monitor the unallocated cash balance and aging, and drive timely resolution to reduce open items.
- Perform timely reconciliation of bank accounts, including investigation and clearance of reconciling items.
- Ensure bank balances match the general ledger and that all variances are documented and resolved.
- Support month-end close by completing bank reconciliations within agreed deadlines and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
- Support month-end and quarter-end close activities related to billing.
- Creation of zero temps for clean up activity.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and cross-training activities.
- Manage shared mailbox communication for billing related requests & queries.
- Take complete ownership of the invoicing lifecycle from initiation to client delivery with accuracy and in adherence to client and finance cut-off
Skills
- Proven ability to coordinate across onshore/offshore teams and multiple time zones.
- Experience in contract management and financial master data setup.
- Prior exposure to multi-entity, multi-currency billing environments preferred.
- Experience in supporting audits (internal/external/SOX) is highly desirable Technical.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft excel skills.
- Understanding of tax concepts (VAT, GST, Sales Tax, Withholding Tax).
- Experience with reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus Core CompetenciesExceptional analytical and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Proven ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The work covers contract-to-billing and receivables, accounts payable, general ledger and record-to-report, revenue recognition, reporting and FP&A, treasury, US payroll, lease administration and financial modelling for consulting projects, plus finance roles in Ludhiana and Mumbai suited to people from mall, retail, hotel or facilities backgrounds. Roles run from senior analyst to regional finance lead. Many postings ask for a commerce or accounting degree or a professional accountancy qualification; a revenue recognition role requires CA, ACCA or CPA, others prefer a CA, CPA, CFA or MBA, and payables roles in Hyderabad accept B.Com, MBA Finance or CA Inter.
