JPMorgan Chase India | Loan Servicing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Join our Loans group as a Credit & Loan Servicing Specialist and play a key role in supporting critical banking functions.
• This position offers exposure to diverse operational processes and the opportunity to contribute to the success of our financial services.
• As a Credit & Loan Servicing Specialist within the Loans group, you will execute assigned operational tasks while maintaining strict compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• This role enables you to develop expertise in Nostro & Past Due Reconciliation and make a meaningful impact on our operations.
• You will manage processes such as Deal Closing, Drawdowns, Rollovers, Repayments, Pre-payments, Funding, Rate-Fixings, Fees, and external payments.
• Ensure 100% compliance with process-related policies, guidelines, and controls.
• Manage Deal Closing, Drawdowns, Rollovers, Repayments, and other financial processes efficiently.
• Support the secondary trading desk with trade booking and settlements.
• Liaise with bank departments and external contacts, including Borrowers and Trustees.
• Serve as the SME and first internal point of contact for process-related queries and clarifications.
• Act as the first point of escalation for process-related issues from customers.
• Identify and implement changes to processes to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Adhere to established QUALITY & QUANTITY SLAs consistently.
• Follow up promptly with agents or customers for any missing notifications.
• Pay attention to detail to ensure all documents are processed correctly.
• Manage clients effectively, build partnerships, and lead while engaging multiple stakeholders.
• Build relationships with clients, internal partners, and peers effectively.
• Collaborate across teams to drive process improvements and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Hold a bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, or possess equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 6 months of experience in the financial services industry with a proven track record of delivery.
• Exhibit strong research, analytical, and comprehension skills to analyze large data sets.
• Utilize effective time management and prioritization skills to achieve business objectives.
• Communicate effectively with strong interpersonal and analytical skills, working independently on multiple assignments.
• Develop domain learning and exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Apply analytical thinking and problem-solving skills effectively.
