Responsibilities
- The candidate will coordinate with project management, labour contractors, HR teams, and government authorities to ensure smooth workforce operations and avoid labour disputes that may impact project progress.
- Maintain effective communication with labour contractors, subcontractors, and workers.
- Resolve labour disputes, grievances, and workplace conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure a stable and productive work environment at the construction site.
- Ensure contractors comply with statutory labour requirements and documentation.
- Conduct periodic checks of labour records and compliance documents.
- Monitor compliance with labour welfare guidelines and regulations.
- Coordinate with government inspectors and regulatory authorities during inspections.
- Ensure all required statutory filings and documentation are maintained properly.
- Coordination with ManagementCoordinate with project management, HR teams, and FA&A departments regarding workforce requirements and labour issues.
- Provide regular updates to management regarding labour availability, workforce issues, and compliance status.
- ReportingPrepare periodic reports related to labour strength, statutory compliance, and industrial relations matters.
- Report any labour disputes, compliance issues, or potential risks to senior management.
