Responsibilities

• As an Accounting Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in our success by being responsible for risk and control of environment, reporting and developing internal control processes.
• You will have the opportunity to have exposure to global accounting processes, Audit, IFRS and guidelines.
• Preparation of month-end and year-end financial reports.
• Support for internal and external audits.
• Control follow-up and compliance management.
• Ensuring that all the General Ledger accounting and Financial / Management Reporting is done in accordance with IFRS and APMM GAP.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of local and international financial regulations, financial analysis, and the audit process.
• Experience: 5-7 years’ experience with accounting and reporting.
• Experience in control framework and IFRS (added advantage).
• Experienced in creating and documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring control follow-up and compliance.
• Experienced in global company and transaction volume management.
• Excellent proactive, analytical, innovative, and structured working method.
