M&G UK | Finance Actuarial Internship (Stirling)

Responsibilities

• Team Placement: Join one team for eight weeks where you will take on meaningful work, contribute to live projects, and shadow experienced colleagues to gain a solid understanding of Finance
• At the end of the programme, you’ll have the opportunity to apply for our Actuarial Graduate Programme starting in September 2028.
• By joining one of our Actuarial teams within the Finance function, you’ll play a meaningful role in helping M&G generate value for the organisation.
• Finance at M&G has approximately 850 staff and as a function, is passionate about ensuring it is a diverse department where colleagues support each other, share information and ideas, and work together towards common goals.
• We’re looking for curious minds and creative problem-solvers who are ready to start their career in Finance and are interested in exploring a career as an actuary.
• Work alongside experienced colleagues to support actuarial analysis and liability valuation processes, and gain practical exposure to actuarial work.
• Contribute to projects and process improvements, bringing fresh ideas, supporting data governance, and helping implement new workflows.
• Engage with stakeholders and knowledge-sharing sessions, attending meetings and collaborating across teams to broaden your network and understanding.
• Development is a priority where professional qualifications, Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) are supported alongside technical, data and technology capabilities.
• Take part in an online job simulation
• Attend one of our assessment centres
