• As a Finance Industrial Trainee, you will embed yourself in the business finance team supporting one of the world's most recognised sports lifestyle brands.
• You will get real exposure to the numbers that drive product, retail, and brand decisions across India and beyond.
• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the India business.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis tracking performance across product categories and online channels.
• Assist in preparation of management reports and presentations for senior leadership.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, compliance frameworks, and Puma's global finance standards.
• Support monthly management review presentations and business performance reporting.
• Conduct cost, revenue, and trend analysis for strategic decision‑making.
• Prepare schedules and documentation for statutory and internal audits.
• Develop automated dashboards using Excel/Power BI for leadership.
• Ensure data accuracy, timeliness, and consistency across all reports.
• Collaborate with teams to gather inputs, validate data, and improve reporting quality.
• Support process standardization, automation, and efficiency improvements.
• Contribute to special finance projects as assigned by leadership.

Who you are

• Strong academic record and solid conceptual understanding of accounting & finance principles.
• Proficient in MS Excel; working knowledge of SAP ERP is a definite advantage.
• Sharp analytical mind with clear, confident communication skills.
• Self-driven and comfortable keeping pace in a fast-moving brand environment.
• Comfortable working both independently and in cross-functional teams.
