About the company
Reckitt
The business now called Reckitt traces back to Reckitt & Sons, set up in Hull, England, in 1840, whose first product was laundry starch. The present group took shape in 1999, when Reckitt & Colman merged with the Dutch company Benckiser. Reckitt Benckiser Group plc is listed in London and has its registered office in Slough. Its health and hygiene brands include Dettol, Harpic, Lysol, Finish, Durex, Strepsils and Nurofen. In India it operates as Reckitt Benckiser (India) Private Ltd., registered in Gurugram, and it also runs the Reckitt Global Hub in Hyderabad, which handles IT, people, finance, supply and internal audit work for the group worldwide.
Most of Reckitt's finance hiring in India happens at the Hyderabad hub. Recent openings cover record-to-report and commercial accounting, payroll and global payroll projects, internal audit (including data analytics, operations and quality assurance audits), and SAP finance and controlling roles in the IT&D team. Postings often ask for a degree in finance, accounting or a related field, and several name CA, CMA, CPA, CWA, ACCA or MBA (Finance); the audit roles add CIA, CISA or CFE as preferred certifications.
