About the company
RSM US LLP
Ira B. McGladrey opened an accounting practice in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in 1926, and the firm that grew from it, long known as McGladrey, became RSM US LLP in 2015 when it joined other firms in the RSM International network under the RSM brand. Now headquartered in Chicago, it provides assurance, tax and consulting services with a focus on middle-market companies, and since 1 January 2026 it has worked with RSM UK in a transatlantic partnership. In India the firm operates through RSM US Integrated Services India Private Limited, a subsidiary that provides services to the US firm, with offices in Bengaluru, Gurugram, Hyderabad and Kolkata.
Work in India supports RSM's US practice. Tax roles cover US federal, state and local, international, Canada and pass-through tax, hedge funds and real estate, credits and incentives, and accounting methods. Assurance teams serve financial institutions, private equity funds and technology clients and handle review and compilation work; financial consulting spans fund services, property accounting, technical accounting and finance-as-a-service. Postings usually ask for a B.Com, BBA or accounting degree with a CA, CPA or ACCA; many tax roles also accept an Enrolled Agent, and some prefer an MBA or a master's in accounting or taxation.
