Signify N.V.
Signify traces its roots to 1891, when Gerard Philips and his father Frederik founded Philips & Co. in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, to make incandescent light bulbs. Philips separated its lighting business and listed it on Euronext Amsterdam as Philips Lighting in May 2016; the company was renamed Signify in May 2018. Based in Eindhoven, it makes LED lamps and luminaires, connected lighting systems, and lighting for homes, offices, public spaces and sports venues. It still sells lighting under the Philips brand, alongside Philips Hue, WiZ, Interact, Dynalite and Color Kinetics, and bought Cooper Lighting Solutions from Eaton in 2020. In India it operates through Signify Innovations India Limited, formerly Philips Lighting India Limited, which has its registered office in Kolkata and its corporate office in Gurugram. Signify has a factory in Vadodara, innovation labs in Noida and Bengaluru, a Global Digital Centre in Bengaluru, Cooper Lighting operations in Pune and, since 2024, a Global Finance Service Centre in Noida handling accounting, credit and collection, reporting and purchase-to-pay.
Its finance openings in India are a financial analyst in FP&A in Pune, open to Chartered Accountants and to graduates in finance, accounting, economics or business administration, and a treasury operations specialist in Gurugram, who needs eight to ten years of hands-on treasury operations experience.
