SS&C Technologies India | Associate Manager - Private Equity Fund Accounting (Gujarat GIFTCity)

Responsibilities

• Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.
• Lead, mentor and motivate a team 5+ PE fund accountants.
• Create checklist for the process to ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness.
• Review and update the critical process documents on regular basis.
• Interact with client service teams to ensure timely and accurate communication of relevant financial information to clients.
• Coordinate internal audits and follow up with responsible parties.

SS&C Technologies

Founded in 1986 as Securities Software & Consulting, SS&C started out in Bill Stone's basement and is now headquartered in Windsor, Connecticut. Its shares trade on Nasdaq under the symbol SSNC. Other roles cover general ledger and financial reporting, US partnership tax (Form 1065), tax operations, and internal and IT audit, based in Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Navi Mumbai and GIFT City. Postings usually ask for a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; some are aimed at Chartered Accountants, including newly qualified CAs in Pune, and one prefers CAs with Big 4 or multinational experience.
