Responsibilities

• State Street Global Delivery Data Operations team is seeking a versatile individual in an Associate 2 role with strong data analysis, technical skills, and business analysis skills to support services and offerings across Global Delivery, primarily in Custody and Accounting.
• Establish strong partnerships with internal stakeholders in Operations and Technology teams to influence and coordinate cross-functional business data solutions and products, in support of client and business goals.
• Conduct reconciliations, data quality monitoring, and data delivery in a timely manner.
• Research and document data exceptions with appropriate client-focused communication
• Work with business and technology partners to establish clear connections between business goals, strategies, and the data output
• Communicates recommendations to management/senior business leaders through effective written and oral communication.

Requirements

• This qualified individual will provide data and business solutions and will collaborate with technology and product partners.
• The successful candidate must be skilled in analyzing our complex business service flows across front, middle, and back office operating models, with a focus on data management.
• Possess strong knowledge of front-to-back Investment management/Investment services with focus on user data requirements.
• Strong Technical skills with a background in Accounting, Custody, and/or Performance.
• Proven experience with business requirements analysis to meet critical business needs, must display an ability to drive tasks through to completion.
• Excellent time management and organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
• Ability to think creatively and strategically with a focus on achieving outcomes.
• Understanding of data strategy including data lineage, quality, governance and analysis.
• Proven related financial services experience. Good understanding of State Street businesses, specifically in Custody and Accounting.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, facilitation, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office Products; MS Access, Visio; Jira, Confluence, PowerPoint.
• Data Analysis technical skills including SQL, Data Visualization tools, Power BI, etc.
