- Providing business use cases and functional testing scenarios.
- Providing senior-level oversight of testing strategy and validating accounting accuracy, control effectiveness, and business outcomes.
- Partnering with product management, development, operations, client service, and other stakeholders to manage dependencies, resolve issues, and maintain an actionable backlog.
- Assisting with product roadmaps and longer-term functional direction, including recommendations for modernization.
- Overseeing delivery of enhancements through iterative planning, prioritizing business value and client impact.
- Identifying cross-product and data dependencies and driving alignment across accounting, reporting, operational, and client-facing capabilities.
- Creating and maintaining user documentation.
- Delivering training sessions, and product demonstrations for internal teams and current or prospective clients.
- Supporting software maintenance and client service teams with business-level troubleshooting.
- Assisting onboarding teams and clients with conversions and implementations, as needed.
- Serving as one of the primary business authorities for insurance accounting functionality and related reporting
- Defining accounting ledger entries, multi-cost basis behavior, and accounting outcomes for enhancements
- Translating business and accounting requirements into well-defined epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria
