• The Director, Advanced Planning (DAP) is accountable for providing advanced tax and estate planning solution advice to high net worth end-clients through financial advisors; and for providing education to the financial advisors and internal audiences as a subject matter expert for new and existing tax efficient products and services.
• The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted.
• You'll work with dynamic colleagues - experts in their fields - who are eager to share their knowledge with you.
• Deliver tax presentations to large audiences and promote sales tools that support Sun Life's products, proprietary financial planning concepts, and specialty needs analyses, including legal and compliance issues.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the various Sun Life distribution channels by establishing and enhancing relationships.
• Delivers presentations and training workshops and associated materials for financial advisors.
• Delivers client seminars and associated materials.
• Participates in industry profile building activities.

• Keeps current, through research, on tax and estate planning issues

Experience creating powerpoint presentations

• Experience with and comfortable working in the High Net Worth market.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation and training skills.
• Excellent understanding of industry trends and their implication on achieving business sales results/objectives.
• Strong knowledge of personal and corporate taxation.
• Strong organization and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum of 5 years’ of professional experience within the financial services industry.
• Experience creating Powerpoint Presentations
