Responsibilities

• Review tax calculations & estimates, ensure timely & accurate filing of GST returns.
• Support in the creation and implementation of effective governance, compliance and risk management frameworks.
• Ensure pro-active input into preventive actions to address key business risks.
• Drive a performance driven culture in the team by reviewing performance parameters and providing feedback to the team.
• Contribute in talent development by providing subordinates with adequate exposure and growth opportunities.
• Ensure periodic follow-up with the recruitment team to fill the vacant positions within stipulated time.
• Champion the embedding of a compliance culture in Titan
• Keep current in the field of GST, constantly update the knowledge & understanding
• Drafting skills at a high level.

Requirements

• Understanding custom issues relating to customs clearance / interaction/disputes/adjudication with paramount understanding of business requirement.
• Understanding of disputes / opportunities that exist for the company taking it forward with legal opinion from experts.
• Knowledge of Customs clearance and related aspects.
• Expertise in handling GST authorities.
• Understanding of ISCM/Commercial expectations on transactions for effective structure to leverage maximum benefits out of the transaction.
• Advanced knowledge of GST
