Wipro | Director- Finance Transformation

Responsibilities

• This role sits within Wipro Consulting’s India Consulting Hub – Finance Transformation practice and will support a large-scale global finance transformation programme for a strategic enterprise client.
• The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of business development, consulting delivery, CFO-domain depth, technology awareness and people leadership, with the ability to operate credibly with senior clients while building scalable capability within the India Consulting Hub.

• Delivery leadership capability to mobilise multi-disciplinary teams, assure quality, manage risk, and drive measurable business outcomes at scale.
• Driving Transformation: Shape transformation priorities that improve close cycle time, control effectiveness, reporting confidence, standardisation, automation, audit readiness, operating model resilience, and finance productivity.
• Support account growth by identifying adjacent opportunities, strengthening client confidence, and positioning Wipro Consulting as a trusted transformation partner.
• Build reusable assets, differentiated offerings, case studies, accelerators, and thought capital for Wipro Consulting’s Finance Transformation practice.
• Work closely with global Finance Transformation leadership, market units, account teams, GBLs, BPS, Technology Transformation, ecosystem partners and ICH leadership to create pull-through opportunities for the broader Wipro Consulting ecosystem.

Requirements

• Deep controllership expertise across R2R, financial close, reporting, reconciliations, controls, risk, compliance, policy, and audit readiness.
• Strong consulting judgement with ability to shape transformation strategy, challenge design decisions, manage ambiguity, and drive executive alignment.
• Exposure to reporting platforms like Power BI, Board, Anaplan etc and process management tools like Celonis, ARIS.
• Qualified CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CMA, MBA Finance, or equivalent preferred.
