Job Highlights
Responsibilities
- We’re looking for a Senior Designer who can turn a business challenge or a brief into a clear and engaging visual idea.
- This role is for someone who enjoys working out the best way to tell a story, not just making supplied content look polished.
- PowerPoint and other formats are the tools you’ll use to bring the idea to life.
- Creative concepts, visual storytelling & design direction.
- You’ll bring ideas, challenge content when needed and make confident design decisions, while keeping the work true to Global insurance broker’s brand.
- You’ll work closely with the Lead Designer and stakeholders, taking responsibility for the creative approach and developing it through feedback to final delivery.
- Develop concepts and explore different ways to communicate an idea, then turn the strongest approach into a coherent design across the required materials.
- Lead the design of presentations by shaping the narrative, deciding what deserves emphasis and using layout, imagery, typography and visual devices to make the story clear.
- Create visual approaches for reports, brochures and marketing communications, building a consistent look and feel that works across multiple pages, formats and channels.
- Present and explain design recommendations to the Lead Designer and, where required, clients or senior stakeholders.
- Work with other designers, share constructive feedback and help maintain a high standard of creative work across the studio.
- Work closely with Account Managers and the wider Global insurance broker studio, communicating progress, clarifying requirements and raising changes to scope, priorities or delivery risks early.
- You’ll report to the Lead Designer and collaborate with the wider Onshore studio.
- Make complex business information easier to understand by deciding how it should be structured and visualised, rather than only formatting supplied charts or content.
- Use feedback to strengthen the work and guide decisions.
- Take ownership of design quality from concept to delivery, balancing new creative projects with updates, adaptations and recurring communications across formats and markets.
What you’ll bring
- Experience: 7+ years Function: Creative / Design.
- Working with Global insurance broker teams across different markets, you’ll shape how messages are communicated through presentations, reports, brochures and marketing materials.
- Around 7+ years of design experience, with a portfolio that shows original thinking and the ability to take a brief through to a finished solution.
- Strong presentation design skills, including visual storytelling, narrative structure and the ability to make business content engaging and clear.
- Exceptional design craft, with expert command of PowerPoint and strong proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, producing beautifully designed, editable presentations and professional print and digital materials.
- Strong brand judgement, with the ability to quickly understand Global insurance broker’s visual identity and apply it creatively and consistently across formats, audiences and markets.
- Experience in insurance or financial services is useful, but not essential.
