Resume Builder for CA & Finance Jobs
Make an ATS-friendly resume for CA, CMA, CFA and finance jobs in minutes - recruiter-approved formats, ready bullet points and a live score.
How to build a resume that gets shortlisted
Recruiters for audit, tax and finance roles spend well under a minute on a first look, and many companies screen with an applicant tracking system before a person sees your resume. The builder is set up around what both of them check.
Pick your role
CA fresher, experienced CA, CA Inter, CMA, CFA, ACCA, MBA Finance or accountant - the sections are arranged the way recruiters for that role expect.
Fill in or import
Upload your current resume to fill the form, start from a complete example, or type from scratch with tips under every section.
Strengthen every bullet
Add ready bullet points written for finance work, then put in your own numbers. The score shows weak verbs, missing figures and gaps.
Match and download
Check the job's keywords, choose the format that suits you best and download a clean PDF or Word file.
Resume formats built for finance recruiters
Every format uses the same content, so you can switch in one click and compare them side by side with your own details.
What recruiters look for, role by role
CA freshers
Lead with your CA Final result - first attempt, ranks and exemptions count - then articleship with the firm, period and areas covered. Quantify it: companies audited, returns filed, turnover of clients.
Experienced CAs
Open with a three-line summary of your years and specialisation, then roles with results: audits signed off, tax demands reduced, close cycle shortened, savings found. Keep it to two pages.
CA Inter and semi-qualified
Show both groups cleared, your CA Final attempt and what you handle independently during articleship - GST and TDS returns, ledger scrutiny, audit support.
CMA and cost roles
Costing systems, variance analysis, cost audit and plant finance, with the savings you found. Name the ERP you use, such as SAP CO.
CFA, research and investments
Coverage, models and valuations, reports published and the tools you use - Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Excel modelling. Mention your CFA level and exam window.
MBA Finance and accountants
Internships and projects with outcomes, the finance skills employers search for, and software - Tally Prime, SAP, Power BI, advanced Excel.

Questions
Is the resume builder free to use?
Building, previewing, trying every format, the resume score and the job match are free and need no account. Downloading the PDF or Word file and saving resumes to your account are part of CA Samaaj Premium.
Are these resumes ATS-friendly?
Yes. The resumes are real text (not images), use standard section names, common fonts and a clear reading order, so applicant tracking systems can read your name, experience, dates and skills. Seven of the eight formats are single column; the Sidebar format is marked "Design" because a few older systems read two columns out of order.
Which resume format is best for a CA fresher?
Professional or Classic, kept to one page. Put your qualifications (CA Final, Intermediate and Foundation with attempts or ranks) and articleship near the top, then graduation, skills and achievements. Choose "CA Fresher" in the builder and the sections are ordered this way for you.
Should I add a photo, date of birth or marital status?
Most private employers and multinational companies do not need them, and they take space from the details recruiters actually read. The builder keeps personal details hidden by default; you can switch them on if an employer asks for them.
Should my resume be one page or two?
One page if you have less than three years of experience, two pages at most for experienced professionals. The preview shows exactly where each page ends, and the Compact format fits more on a page.
How should I show articleship on my resume?
As its own section with the firm name, period and areas covered (for example statutory audit, tax audit, GST), followed by three to five bullet points with numbers - clients audited, returns filed, turnover of companies you worked on.
Can I upload my existing resume instead of typing everything?
Yes. Upload a PDF, Word file or a clear photo and the form is filled for you to check and improve. The file is deleted the moment it has been read.
What does the resume score check?
Complete contact details, a summary of the right length, enough bullet points per role, bullets that start with action verbs and show numbers, no weak phrases such as "responsible for", dates on every role, a sensible number of skills and the right length for your experience.
How does "Match a job" work?
Paste any job description, or open the builder from a job on CA Samaaj. It finds the skills and keywords the employer asks for and shows which ones your resume already has and which are missing, so you can add the ones that are true for you.
Where is my resume stored?
Without Premium your draft stays only in your own browser - nothing is saved on CA Samaaj. Premium members can save up to 10 resumes to their account, stored encrypted, and delete them any time.
