Responsibilities

• This role within the BSM FE & D team in GBS India will be responsible for supporting PALMs application which is used for Treasury forecasting reporting.
• Track and identify failures in the Palms system to make sure the platform is functioning properly (Application support).
• Review overnight batches of Palms system and implement solutions in case of failures before US office hour starts.
• Assisting in analyzing current data quality checks to ensure integrity and more robust system response when failures occur.
• Work closely with the platform team to address issues and communicate to the concerned development teams.
• Work with technology teams to resolve data issues or in implementation of new system capabilities.
• Supports application management and broader automation.

Requirements

• Understanding of automation and emerging technology solutions including data integration and visualization.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Proven track record of clear and concise verbal and written communication.
• Self-starter with ability to be proactive and well organized.
• Prior experience in application support.
• Knowledge of Alteryx and Tableau
• Good business partnering skills
• Experience improving and automating manual processes
