Responsibilities
- This role requires strong stakeholder management, rigorous review of complex financial deliverables, and effective people leadership to drive high‑quality financial reporting and continuous process improvement.
- Oversee end‑to‑end Record to Report process ensuring accurate month‑end and quarter‑end close within deadlines.
- Drive timely closure of books across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
- Manage stakeholder relationships with finance, business units, audit and external partners.
- Review and approve complex journal entries, reconciliations and financial statements.
- Lead a team of accountants, providing coaching, performance management and career development.
- Implement process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and control.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP, internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate external audit and statutory reporting activities.
- Monitor key performance indicators and produce management reports.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and risk awareness.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Record to Report, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
- Proven expertise in month‑end close, financial reporting and consolidation.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- In‑depth knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and Indian statutory requirements.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (People soft, Oracle) and advanced Excel.
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex accounting issues.
- Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
- Demonstrated track record of process improvement and automation initiatives.
