Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and posting journal entries during month-end and year-end close.
• Ensure all entries are backed by appropriate documentation.
• Reconcile GL accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Support in closing books of accounts on a timely basis.
• Assist with accruals, prepayments, and provisions.
• Support the maintenance of the fixed asset register.
• Support in reconciling intercompany balances.
• Assist in processing intercompany invoices and settlements.
• Prepare or assist in preparing reconciliations for assigned accounts.
• Investigate and resolve reconciling items.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in line with applicable reporting standards.
• Provide supporting documentation for disclosures.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors.
• Provide requested schedules, reconciliations, and documentation.
• Support in preparing statutory reports and regulatory filings.
• Ensure timely submission of required reports to authorities.
• Assist in preparing commentary and explanation for deviations.
• Perform data integrity checks before finalizing reports.
• Record to Report (R2R) – Responsibilities
• Identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Help with capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
• Help in performing variance analysis between actuals, budgets, and forecasts.
• Extract financial data from ERP systems for reporting.
