About the company
Tata Capital Limited
The Tata Group's main financial services company, Tata Capital Limited, is a subsidiary of Tata Sons Private Limited. It was incorporated in 1991, has its registered office in Mumbai and operates as a non-banking financial company. It lends to individuals and to small, mid-sized and large businesses, and also offers wealth services, investment banking, private equity, leasing and clean-energy finance. Home loans come through its subsidiary, Tata Capital Housing Finance Limited. Tata Capital Financial Services, Tata Cleantech Capital and Tata Motors Finance have been merged into the company, and its shares were listed on the NSE and BSE after an initial public offering in October 2025.
Credit is the main finance area in Tata Capital's current openings: area credit managers who appraise loans to mid-sized enterprises in Bengaluru, high-value underwriters for loans against property in Mumbai, and business transformation work in retail finance. Several postings name a CA, MBA, PGDBA or PGPM as the minimum qualification, while others accept graduates in any discipline, with an MBA in finance as an advantage.
