About ACCA Jobs in India
ACCA, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, is an IFRS-based qualification, so in India it is most valued where work follows international standards. Global capability centres, shared-service centres and multinational finance teams hire ACCA members and affiliates for group reporting, consolidation, record-to-report, intercompany accounting and technical accounting. Big 4 and other audit networks use ACCA candidates on international audit engagements for overseas clients, and banks and fund administrators employ them in financial control, product control and fund accounting.
Because ACCA does not by itself confer the right to sign statutory audits in India, roles built around Indian statutory audit or tax practice usually ask for CA, so focus on posts that name ACCA explicitly. Useful skills include IFRS reporting, consolidation, Excel and ERPs such as SAP or Oracle. Check the stage each employer wants, since some ACCA jobs accept part-qualified candidates who have cleared the Applied Skills papers, while others expect full membership and relevant post-qualification experience.
